After training in Fine Art and a career as a touring musician, in the 1990’s I changed career and apprenticed with Master Luthier Arjaan Westdorp. I am passionate about making instruments perform at their best - allowing the musician, from student to expert, to play with great tonality and ease. I am a member of the British Violin Making Association (BVMA).

ABOUT BOW REHAIR

Bows need rehairing regularly. A well rehaired bow should “bite” the strings and give more projection, volume and dynamics. I use only top quality, unbleached hair. Along with professional rehairs and lapping, I repair and restore old bows.
